Out on Delivery

This week delivering in NR2, on walk 207, my eyes have been on customers Halloween decorations. Some fabulous moment, some caught, some just enjoyed in passing. The skeleton seated in the car actually made me shiver when the car drove past me on the street.

A good distraction from the first really rainy delivery weather for months. Had forgotten just how unwaterproof our impressive looking jackets are, off this morning to purchase my own waterproof coat for the winter ahead.

Today: Drizzling, damp morning. Wintery type temperature. All is lush and green though. Flowers glisten with silvery drops.

Chester place has a garden running along the while line of house filled with beautiful plants. This Griffith’s spurge caught my eye alongside this magnificent day like bush in Earlham road.

Working with a new colleague Tony, always a joy to hear about others lives chatting in the van.

Today: A wet and frankly quite chilly start to the delivery. Spring still sung brightly, these tulips in a garden in Chester place were only one of the beautiful varieties the garden had in bloom. All the greenery glistened in the moist weather. Paves and pavements are filled with uninvited blooms and growth.

Time at the end of the delivery to get some chips from the chippie in Stafford street. The sun had emerged and so we finished the morning feeling full and warm.
