A morning walk: 25/04

A warm and muffled morning, quiet routines gently unfolding around me. Sounds of building work and cleaning activities. Trees semi-cloaked, poised ready for full glory. Noticing the variety of greens, shadows and a self-reflection with a broom (felt fitting!!) Held, by the ordinariness of the day.

A morning walk 05/04

An early morning North Norfolk coast visit catching an indistinct horizon. Overstrand to Cromer, a sunny calm walk with an invigorating seascape. Mesmorised by proximity of the breaking surf, architectural shapes and shadows.

A morning walk:04/04

A cloudy/sunny day. Fresh and changeable. Noticing paving patterns, fleeting shadows, river ripples and a gently swaying magnolia tree, resplendent in the sunlight .

An afternoon walk 03/04

An overcast afternoon with an occasional hint of weak sun breaking through. Noticing colours, cones, and new growth. An urban meander of a walk with many steps, alleyways, doorways and passages.

A Sunday stroll: 31/03

A Mothers day walk, Cromer to Overstrand, Norfolk. A cool, still, sunny afternoon. The sumptuous aroma of gorse accompanied the cliff top walk as small clouds cast sinister giant squid like shadows on the sea. Noticing the light in the roof of Norwich train station.

An afternoon stroll 29/03

A sea side town, still out of season but gently waking and preparing. Inflatables laid empty and flat on the beach, painters touching up beach cafes. A beach to ourselves in an ever so hazy white sunlight. A blood red sea, a heavenly hot donut, a penny shove gamble and a forlornly empty cafe.
