Another day where despite occasional slight light drizzle we manage to avoid any serious rain. Playing catch up with double mail on walk 202 but manage to deliver all we brought out.

Hollyhocks tower over me in Gladstone Street today, another dry but overcast day in which we manage to get all delivered.

A return to work after a week’s holiday and a return to working with Craig. With all the election material delivered the sorting frame feels blissfully empty.
A perfect sunny summers day.

Another hot sunny day. An overwhelment of mail, election flyers and parcels. We do what we can, trying to let go of worrying that it is not enough.
These everlasting peas in Earlham road pop with colour.

A hot and sunny delivery day. Favourite moment was spotting these sinister car seats in Gladstone street.
Working with another new colleague, feel like we are permanently losing a battle and falling further and further behind.
Shadows strong and some grass already dried out and brown. Felt like summer.

The sun is continuing to shine 🙂 Sun hat on. Relieved to now have a permanent colleague to replace my poorly usually work colleague. Both tiring and a pleasure to have worked with so many different colleagues over the last couple of weeks.
Today we have practically all the calls on 207, with the polling cards going out. Luckily the packages are light today.
These poppies in Earlham road catch my eyes, as I make a collage I see how poppy like our royal mail uniform is.

So much greenery we manage to snag a branch in Sandringham road. Noticing all the abundance, sometimes humble slightly overgrown jungle like gardens provide great beauty.
Working with a newer colleague, please to have broken the back of the polling cards. Awaiting all the postal vote packs…

A return to work after holiday, due to staff sickness the mail on my walk has not been delivered for a few days. Bags are very heavy and we have to use trolleys on most loops.
Gardens have changed in the week away, all glistening in the summer rain.

A wet, warm morning delivering. Snails are out climbing door and filling pathways. Warm enough to enjoy the brush of wet foliage as I go up pathways.
A larger Wednesday, but we get finished despite the rain.
