Today: A beautiful miniature cactus flower in a brick, Plantsman’s close: A luminous Dandelion: Window pattern, delivery office as I head home.

The summer solstice, the sun shone full on as if in celebration. Posties arriving back after delivery all exclaimed “hotter than I was expecting”. A double tray Tuesday with endless Go outdoor and loaf sofa catalogues to deliver. A much needed stop at a corner shop for refreshing cold cans of drink. Happy to be finished.

Walk 206: 1/06/22

Today: Shadows of “Yorks” (Royal Mail cages/trolleys used to transport mail/packets/parcels) in the delivery office carpark: Just one of many daily photos of tracked items being delivered that I take: The remains of the magnificent Cedar tree that “The cedars” is named from, sadly severely damaged in the big storm in Feb.

Shadow of clip on my parcel delivery notebook; door shadow at the flats on benjamin gooch way; foliage shadow, christchurch road; geometric handrail shadows, plantsmans close.

A morning walk 04/06

An everyday summer’s morning, warm and slightly overcast with the sun breaking through periodically. Quiet and purposeful. I choose to follow the route of yesterdays run to photograph flowers in this NR1 area. Rewarded with an abundance of colourful images and the lingering smell of roses in my nostrils.
