Wedding Anniversary today, my eye is caught by this heart shaped knot on a tree in Church Avenue and I share it with Shaun. Looking forward to my secret sauna later.
Today: Feature windows in staircase at Walpole Gardens: Yucca plant, Newmarket Rd: Lily, Allens Lane.
Warming up, after the recent rain all is feeling lush and plentiful. Worked with a different colleague, always a pleasure. He has been a postman for many years and and some point did this walk. He enjoyed catching up with customers he had not seen in years.
Today: Sunny and hot, flowers looking splendid. The big Holly Hocks are now out, towering above me and filling the walk with colour.
Almost every call on 206, possibly planning application letters. Another big step accumulating day. Smell of roses fills gardens around the walk, feel sad at the inability to be able to capture the smell, or to be able to share the beauty. A joy.
Today: End of week tired, weather is hot and humid, although not Sunny. A heavy Saturday with plenty of parcels to deliver.
Today: A first Autumnal leaf *gulp*, always surprised by how early some leaves fall. Possibly the hot weather has adversely affected the trees.
A busier Wednesday, by the end of the day I will have walked over 30,000 steps. Lean into the day in the knowledge that tomorrow is my day off and I can rest.

A lighter day’s delivering, only two roads short of delivering to all addresses. Overcast but humid.

A cooler, breezier sunny morning. Happy to have Kelly back from holiday and everything fell back into a rhythm.
A hot, busy, stressful day’s delivering. We had to rejiggle the delivery to accommodate three in the van, alas, still not able to deliver it all.
The aroma of scented rose bushes was a silver lining.
