A gift of a day, strong clear light the blossom trees were singing.
A lighter Saturday, a great day to be a Postie.

A dry, warmer day. A little sun here and there. Blossom trees are really looking amazing.
Showered with blossom as we work in Mount Pleasant. Small white snow like petals flitter down. Such a quick and transient season spring.
Still delivery council tax letters, water bills and tax reminders.

A warmer, drier day. A busy Wednesday, council tax letters galore. Noticing pinks.

A rudeness of day, it rained, drizzled and damped unstintingly in wintery type temperatures. Finished the walk cold and demoralised.
Luckily the flowers and garden were there to cheer and birds sang unstintingly despite the rain !!
I got caught photographing this purple edged leafed bush by my customer who was sitting in her car watching me!! I also couldn’t resist rephotographing this clematis in Mount Pleasant which is so very exquisite.

A dull blankness of a morning, not cold, not warm, not wet, not sunny, not windy. Nothing zinged particularly, the work load light, allowing me to chat to customers. Disappointing many by sharing that I will be leaving the walk at the end of the month.
Enjoyed the magnificent scent of the white Clematis at 45 Mount Pleasant. Just heavenly.
Also loved this road sign in Ipswich Road.

Another beautiful spring day. We have three of us and we zip through the delivery despite a heavy delivery day with water bills, mother’s day cards and presents.
I enjoy the shadows of the Bossier’s glory-of-the-snow, the play of light through the doors in Arundel Court, and the crocuses

A glory of a spring day, a Japanese Pieris with little translucent dots inside, a Bossiers glory-of-the-snow catching the sunlight in Newmarket Road and a the magnificent plum tree at 97 glowing in the sunlight.
Perfect conditions to cover the 20k needed to deliver all the mail today on walks 206 and 211. Finished on time 🙂

A temporary return to drizzle today. Shaun gallantly cycles out with my forgotten (partially)waterproof jacket.
More brown council envelopes land on our frames today lowering the mood. Mother’s day on the horizon so expecting a busy end of week.
Noticing all the new growth and the progress of the japonica at 51 Mount Pleasant.

Finally the rain stopped, a dryish but cold day, fingers are split and sore. Still overcast. Noticing flowers, mini Irises, this Wonkeresk bush at 10 Lime tree Rd and new growth leaves.
