Today: Misty view, Benjamin Gooch Way: Favourite cat, Christchurch Rd: Railings and shadows, Ipswich Rd.
A glorious misty start which cleared into a warm sunny morning. All feels spring like, crocuses, leaf buds are out and the birds are singing.

A glorious misty start which cleared into a warm sunny morning. All feels spring like, crocuses, leaf buds are out and the birds are singing.

Today: Purple edged leaves, Ipswich Rd
An overcast start to this morning’s delivery which lifted slowly into a beauty day. Lots of packets to deliver and new routines with tracked items needing scanning in on our frames.

Today: Tree reflections in van

Today: Van as abstract: Extraordinary reflected light pattern on gate, Harford Manor Road: Shadow with blue cobbles, Allen’s Lane
All about the light and shadow again today. The low sun delivering a little warmth where it fell. The morning passed quickly.
I was confronted with a mistake I had hoped was unnoticed and would be forgotten. Never great to have to face your less good self.

Today: Vue whilst for my colleague at the depo: Colourful Lichen, Newmarket Rd: Sign post shadow, Plantsman’s Close.
Sunny but chilly. The first murmurings of light, over Mousehold Health as I head in to work. Thinking of how lovely it will be to be heading into work in the light in the summer months. No more watering eyes, chaffed thighs or cracked fingers.
Delivering gardening catalogues, dentists journals and clothing in beautiful boxes. Enjoying the shadows.

Today: New growth, Allens Lane: Clematis, Plantsmans Close: Shadow Selfie, Newmarket Rd: Moss and Lichen, Ipswich grove.
Finally a warmer, brighter day, offering the promise of spring to come. A day of connecting with customers, a holiday in Thailand, Australia. The loss of a mother, the hospital stay of a father, the excitement of the brighter day. Reminded yet again of the privilege connecting with so many different lives.
Still enjoying the electric van but accidentally put on the wheel lock in Mount Pleasant. Unable to release it and had call the office for support. Advice received was simply “jiggle it” . In the end it took two of us pulling the steering wheel to release it.

Today: green/yellow wall, Mount Pleasant: Globby road paint, Ipswich Grove
Another cold overcast day. Yellows and greens still catching my eye. A glitchy start to the days delivering but in the end all delivered in time.

Today: Manhole cover, Newmarket Rd: Pavement markings: Green and yellow, Ipswich rd: Green wall, Brunswick rd.
A misty, damp, in a cloud day. Noticing colours, water board blue, lichen greens and yellows and rich damp green moss. A steady mornings delivery.

Today: 7am CWU meeting in Mattressman car park: Selfie in Royal arch court lift mirror.
An early morning union meeting, always amazing seeing all my colleagues gathered together. No defrosting of van needed this morning, which makes me happy. Still the day feels cold and I need a long hot bath to warm up after work.
