After a week of sun the blossom trees are starting to bloom and green budding growth is filling the trees.
Not quite as warm and sunny today, but still very pleasant to be out delivering parcels and mail.
Hoorah for the spring.

A wet start to the morning delivering. Temperatures have risen, so stayed comfortable. Spring approaching, ever more in evidence. A glistening bowl of daffodils in Avenue Road and new pink leafed growth emerging.
A lighter Monday, so time to notice and enjoy.

Cold, again, thermals, hat, gloves necessary. A little more overcast with the sun trying to peek through.
Loved this reflection of trees in my wing mirror in Chester Place.
A selection of delivery montages from the start of 2025

A bone chilly, gloriously sunny day. I spot my first opened crocus in a garden in Earlham Road. The sun makes the first tentative blossom glow.
Excited yesterday to see the first glimmers of light as I arrive at work. The sky is bruised purple and red and I can feel the possibility of spring arriving after a week of cold dark wintery weather.

An overcast warm Autumnal day. Enjoying all the fallen leaves and the spooky house decorations.
Customers chatty and parcels not too numerous.
Peaches and I take a break in the cafe, a very civilised morning delivery. So used, now, to working at breakneck speed it feels different but good to have time to do job well.

A week of autumnal beauty.

One of my favourite autumnal colour changers, not sure what the name of the tree/bush is. This fine specimen is on Sandringham road.
Crunchy leaf piles in Mill Hill Road, having to take care as slippery leaf strewn steps are waiting to catch us out.

Firey autumnal colours, set off by a brilliant blue sky.
