Today: A humid hug of a day, Heavy on packets but lighter on letters. Noticing all the big Hollyhocks, found some exquisite ones in Hanover Road. Watching, again this year, the amazing tomato plants grown at a house in Harford Manor Close. They start as seedlings in the window and now line the approach to the house, all laden with green fruit of many different varieties. Inspiring.

Invited into a customers flat to see there painting projects, always a privilege to be so connected to a range of people and their everyday lives.

Today: A clarity of sunlight, all sharply defined luminosity. A busy day. An aching knee and twinging back chased away with pain killers and walking.
