A return to work after a couple of weeks absence.
All the trees and blooms are full out and it feels like summer. Glad to be back in a familiar routine and seeing all my customers.

A wet start to the morning delivering. Temperatures have risen, so stayed comfortable. Spring approaching, ever more in evidence. A glistening bowl of daffodils in Avenue Road and new pink leafed growth emerging.
A lighter Monday, so time to notice and enjoy.

Cold, again, thermals, hat, gloves necessary. A little more overcast with the sun trying to peek through.
Loved this reflection of trees in my wing mirror in Chester Place.
A selection of delivery montages from the start of 2025

Pavements carpeted with colourful leaves after the nights heavy rain. Temperatures have plummeted and I am layered up.
After a couple of cold drizzly hours delivering it stops raining, much appreciated. We get it all delivered and I am happy once home warm and dry.

An overcast warm Autumnal day. Enjoying all the fallen leaves and the spooky house decorations.
Customers chatty and parcels not too numerous.
Peaches and I take a break in the cafe, a very civilised morning delivery. So used, now, to working at breakneck speed it feels different but good to have time to do job well.

Firey autumnal colours, set off by a brilliant blue sky.

Today’s highlight was this beautiful hedgehog crossing the road in Sandringham Road.
A gloriously sunny day which felt summery despite the softer light.

An annoying start to the day with a colleague having take the van key home and forgotten to return them. Luckily the weather is warm and dry so not a strain to have to wait at the van to reload.
A lovely customer leaves a bar of chocolate as a thank you for our collecting his parcels.
A good day.
